Incarceration rates in Mississippi are rough. Big House Books insists that people in Mississippi prisons have access to reading. As the treasurer of the board says, "Books grow on trees, but it costs five dollars to ship them into a prison" -- help pay for postage through links on their website.

The Stories and Humanitarian Action podcast, hosted by Ruth Mukwana. Through interviews with aid workers, activists, scholars, and most of all, writers, Ruth explores how fiction and storytelling can "address the causes and consequences of humanitarian crises."

Running with My Girls, a documentary film directed and produced by Rebekah Henderson. Acclaimed by one reviewer as a film that should be mandatory viewing "for everyone before any election anywhere," this film follows four women of color as they run for office in Denver.
